Babu and Ambaa

Kali was a dominant and willful rat who never became fully tame.She was ill for much of her short life and died of a heart condition in March 2005.

Ambaa is a very shy and gentle female rat who tries to avoid all contact with humans. She is getting more confident as she gets older. Babu, Ambaa’s mate, damaged his back when he was six months old. He died six months later of complications.

the age of four weeks and loves
human company.
